bitchy hawkers at chom chom food centre

i went to have dinner with my family at chom chom food centre last night. it has been a long time since we last went there. as we went there early, we were able to choose the seats. and it seems fated that we had to order from this sugarcane stall after changing our seats 3 times to an outdoor one. my sis went to make the order. later, my sis and i walked around the food centre looking for more food. when we came back to our seat, my parents told us that the hawker delivered 3 large cups of sugarcane drink here but my parents not knowing that we have ordered said we didn't. not long after, the hawker came and pointed at my sis saying that she had ordered 3 cups. my sis replied that we ordered only 1. she kept insisting that we ordered 3 and said that we can't deny it coz her partner also heard it. her partner came over and said that we have ordered 3 and since they have already prepared it, we can't cancel our orders. what logic is that? its only sugarcane and not some custom made goods. why can't they sell the extra 2 cups to someone else? what pissed me off was their attitude. u should have seen their faces. they were also very pissed accusing us of denying our orders and was really rude!! come'on we are paying for the drink and i refused to take such bad attitude in return. i was so pissed that i said that if they are so unhappy, they can take back the drink.

shortly after, i went to order from another stall and to my surprise, the same lady came to deliver the drink. she even said that no matter where we order, they belong to the same owners. how cocky can she get? i just paid for the drink and left the whole cup untouched. you never know what they did to the drink after all that happened. they even went on to rattle about us saying that if we can't afford the drink, they can treat us. how bitchy can they get??

i'm never going back to chom chom again!! it was just such an unhappy experience!!!
