to the brave-hearted

was watching the tv variety show "say i do" that lets people propose to their partners on air. today's episode is about a gal who wants to express her feelings for her guy friend whom she has secretly been in love with for 5 years. i can understand how she feels and i would be like her to do such silly things, but definitely not on national tv. what if you get rejected? the feeling is already bad enough, you still have to endure the comments of strangers who will say "hey that's the gal who got rejected". how embarrassing??!!
