on a saturday

realise there's really nothing much to do in singapore other than shop and eat. although it's recession now, but you can still find restaurants packed with people. wanted to go ikea for some chicken wings fix, but the queue to the carpark was terrible. ended up in the hawker centre nearby. things arent cheap in hawker centres anymore.

still a few hours to the midnight show. after some window shopping, really couldnt think of where to go. then we chance upon this place called hort park. it's a gardening hub with different garden themes. there's also a restaurant there which looks quite cool. nice place to hang out away from the crowd.

went to watch 20th century boys which i think its really quite a crappy show. to think the box office was better than death note in japan. half the time i was dozing off, partly becoz i was quite tired after cycling for 2 hours in the day. just realised there was a park connector from east coast to changi beach.

have really been a mountain tortoise for a long time....hahaha....didnt realise singapore has so many new stuff now.
