a new year but no new start yet

it's has been 10 days into the new year but nothing good has happened to me yet.

a fren said something that got me to thinking. when you delibrately look for something, you usually cant find it. when you are not looking for it, it appears before you. i kinda believe in that but does it mean that you dun put any effort to get something you want?

hmm...should i be pro-active or passive?
