sexual equality

we always talk about men and women being equal in today's world. but i believe it can never be equal as in 1=1. girls still expect guys to carry shopping bags for them, open the door for them, pay for meals (i would prefer not to pay for my own if possible..haa).

i have seen quite a few incidences where the guy (older ones in their 40s or 50s) take the seat and leave their partners standing on the bus or mrt. i find it totally appalling. shouldnt the guys be looking after their wives or gfs? how difficult it is to be standing on the bus or mrt for that few mins? if they cant even do such a simple feat, i dun expect they can really take care of their partners. how sad...
