small little things like this...

today my co has a holiday for the hari raya holiday which falls on sat. so no work but i had to wake up early at 7+ to accompany my granny to see the doc. havent been to polyclinics for a long time and didnt realise there are thousand and one queues to go to. but everyth is really quite systematic. was lucky didnt have to wait very long because i heard that old people above a certain age has priority in seeing the doc.

really had some complaints about the place and the pple there. firstly, my granny had to do ecg in a small room. while standing there waiting for her, i already felt really cold coz the temperature was set at 18 degrees. cant imagine how cold she felt lying there and with her clothes lifted. told the person that my granny felt cold but she said it will only take awhile. how can old people stand the cold and most of the patients there are old people. why do they need to set the temperature so low? next the doc we went to see later is a man of few words. not only did i not see how he looked like (with a mask on his face), i could hardly hear any words coming out from his mouth too. no eq at all. the consulation was just less than 5 mins.

after the visit, i sent granny back. was tempted to take a ride from my dad home but i told granny that i would stay for lunch so that means having to take a train home later. i didnt want to disappoint her so i stayed for lunch. then i tried talking to her which i seldom do although i usually visit her on sun. it was just some small talk and most of the time she couldnt hear what i was talking about and interpreted what she thot she heard. nevertheless i just let her continue. these are just small things which made her happy but i often didnt bother to do. it's time that i do more for her...
