a fall

what would you do if you fall (literally) in public? i'm talking about a normal fall, with some scratches, not those really serious kind where you need an amubulance.

ouch! some people would feel pain. most would definitely feel embarrassed especially if the act is in front of many people. some may feel shocked and stunned for a moment. i felt stunned when i slipped and fell at the pool the other time. next i felt the pain. but definitely no moments of embarrassment. thot i might feel embarrassed in most occasions that i fall.

anyway just saw this working executive at the foodcourt yesterday. think she had a fall and saw some scratches on her knee. not a big patch though but it was bleeding and her white skirt stained. she was alone and saw her crying while wiping her wound. would you cry like a child who has fell? it was in the open with many people walking around in the foodcourt.

just this morning, i saw a guy who seemed to have finished his morning exercises and he was running for the bus. he ran across the grasspatch and fell on the pavement just before the busstop. he even rolled on the ground after the fall. not trying to be mean, but the scene seem quite comical esp with the roll. he stood up immediately and walked back with a limp to the park. i think he must be too embarrassed to continue chasing for the bus.

how would you react if you are in such situations? hehe... hopefully we'll never get into such situations in future.
