proximity friends

once read about this article in the magazine about proximity friends. the article talks about finding/hanging out with friends who are close to you in terms of distance. i.e. mixing ard with your pri sch classmates when you are in pri sch, uni friends when you are in uni etc. i really think that is quite true. how often do you still hang out with your so called best friends whom you know from pri/sec sch after graduation and going separate ways to a different uni or started working.

of coz there will be some people who will still hang out with their long time friends after going separate ways, but i think it takes alot of effort on both parties to do so. how many times have you tried fixing a sec sch/jc/uni gathering when all the people turned up, even thou you have fixed the date long beforehand?

i tried making an effort to meet up often, but it all depends on the other party. dun you get tired of arranging the outings after repeated replies of "sorry, i'm not free."?
